Torres Posted July 21, 2008 Author Report Posted July 21, 2008 One thing I would do is make sure the lengths of each speaker wire to each woofer from the central distribution point are the SAME.actually the wires are the same length. we cut one length, then made the rest the same as the first one. and as far as bracing, i thought about that. i was hoping the 18 braces would help but it's not too late. maybe when i get some things sorted out down there i'll put some all thread in it. i feel like shit atm...gettin a fever or somethin so i got up at 2pm so not really any time to fix the amps up and stuff. i'll post vids soon as i do

Xplorer Posted July 21, 2008 Report Posted July 21, 2008 Alright, time for my pics. When we got there, this is what the box looked like. Then we got the second baffle in and bracing in. Then the front was sealed and everything was painted. Then we installed the box for the first time. Nice and tight fit in the cabin. Then it rained. Chris and Andy were saddened because of the rain. While the box was in the first time, we found out it was going to suck wiring and installing the subs upside down. So they pulled the box out, flipped it so the top was actually the bottom, and wired the subs that way. Here's the box out and all of the top subs wired and secured. Then we installed the box for the last time, and not a moment too soon either. We had this blowing it from the west. Chris and Andy finished wiring the bottom 16 subs while we were under a tornado warning. Here's the last pic I took before I had to split. Andy is INSIDE the box. Thats all folks. Most of my pics turned out OK. I can't wait to hear this beast

Torres Posted July 21, 2008 Author Report Posted July 21, 2008 lol he's a mean muggin muhfugger ok my turn for pics both baffles in braced do work son! painted the ports little bit of filler just to cover the gaps. was gonna sand it more hardcore but 1, couldnt find my belt sander (just like EVERYTHING else we looked for lol) and 2, whenever i make lil panels for it, it'll hide it all anyway. the clouds looked somethin fierce my favorite pic. if you look closely, you can see a face in the clouds. like a profile pic it's smiling, you can see the teeth, then the long nose above it, then the eyes and cheek bone and everything. i took it by accident and think it's cool but a little weather wouldnt stop us
