Derrick824
Brandon's Bronco simply doesn't meter high - but this sub on the 3000D metered almost exactly like the three Nightshade 15s -- 143.5 dB Need to try in a different vehicle for some good numbers. Starting to think this Bronco simply won't meter above this level no matter what *laughs* We played around with it for about an hour an it's doing fine so far. I have a vehicle that'll do some good #s. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/01nocomment8so.gif I wouldn't mind making a trip back up there & need to pick up another 1500d and some shirts anyway. The coil failed due to the "new" fiberglass former wrapping sliding off the coil. Triple joint still glued to the wrap... but the rest of the coil just fell down into the motor. Apparently the spun-lace nomex that we all know and love is in short supply so they are trying this fiberglass stuff... I told the coil manufacturer to make me some new ones with spun lace so I can get back to testing - you can swing by then Edited August 8, 2008 by sundownz Quote - Jacob Fuller - Owner, Sundown Audio - Sundown Audio on FACEBOOK - Please DO NOT PM ME -- use my email address -- [email protected]

EricR
iirc he said its gonna be more than a nightshade and less than a DD Z Quote i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work? sundownz
thats a pretty large gap..... $2K+ and $550..... Indeed - large gap on purpose, as I have no real idea what they would cost yet Nor am I certain this design will be the final production design as it stands.
