What was your first system?

Mine was 2 12" Kicker Comps in a pre-fab ported with a Kicker 300.1

I believe I had the same exact subs as you.

They were the black with yellow accents in the "Livin Loud" box except mine was to a pioneer 800w amp.

my first was a single JL W010 single 4 ohm, in a 1 cube or so sealed box off a memphis 16-st1000d @ 4 ohms, and a JVC CD Player.

i then made a 3.5 cube ported box for it at 37 hertz and it WANGED in my musatng

even found a few pictures.

2 RF P1 12s, in a prefab box, off of a RF 250a2 amp, i blew one of the subs after about a month or two

do u still have that box by chance i got a 10 jl wo in my bedroom ina prefab walmart box, or have build specs on that box so i can build my own just like it, only reason im askin this is cause i dont kno how to tune a ported box with the port, im always buildin sealed boxs and would like a ported one, and i got a 12'' wo ina ported box i think its @ 45htz but i baught it already made without no carpet on it, ied rly like to see what that lil sub can do

oh ya, my first system was 2 mtx4000 10's ina sealed box i built off of a vr3 400watt 4ch(walmart but acually really good amp and took a beating for a while runnin @ 4ohmx2channel, i ran 2 kicker comp 10's(old ones with the k in the middle) and those mtx 4000 10's off it and it took it like a champ, and a old pioneer deh5 cdplayer n 4guage wirein kit

Transmission Line Tuned at 38hz

Hit highs amazingly but lacked serious low end.

Now.

2 18" Mach 5 Audio MJ18's

CRX Style box Tuned to 33hz

Wall behind second seats

Same Audiopipe amp ran at 4ohm

600w RMS

That crack must be from the lens.

The subs and box are in mint condition.

First system was a JL 15WO. Me and my friend made a box for it. It was sealed (we thought sealed was Better back then) it must have been at least 5 cubes. It hit the lows like nothing I had ever heard. I had it running off a Sony 400 watt amp bridged....with 8 gauge power wire. I bought my first CD player through JC Penney, it was a Pioneer. my dad used his credit card and I paid him 50$ a month for 6 months. This was 11 years ago. My friends uncle had 8 petras prowler 12's running off a orion 2150 in a blazer. That thing was sick.
