Which Amp?

alright what is a good amp//amps for 2 18" FI btls d1 ohm?

also an installer is gonna b building my a box for my subs and he wants to do 2 serperate boxes and bolt them together so that i can take them out if i want...Shouldnt they be in the same box? also he was talkn bout doin them sealed dont they HAVE to be ported. He had heard of fi i dont think so i just emailed him the specs

No go on the sealing of BTLs its not recommended and two different boxes won't change a thing but it will make it bigger....

On a side note why not build your own box you can always get a buddy to let you borrow his tools or even have him help.

No go on the sealing of BTLs its not recommended and two different boxes won't change a thing but it will make it bigger....

On a side note why not build your own box you can always get a buddy to let you borrow his tools or even have him help.

Cause its my uncles friends shop and he is doin new door speakers and rear deck.hidin my wires and and the box for 200

Iv tried makin a box before with a jigsaw...not pretty or air tight lol

Whats a good tuning to tell him to go for? And i dont think he is gonna be able to do it without takin out my back seat(90 4door accord)

on the amp i guess im wanting wat everyone does alot of power for cheap

What is your budget for amps?

I'd go with low 30's for tuning. Somewhere in the 32-34hz region would be ideal; depending on the type of music you listen to the most.

2 AQ2200D's would be a nice budget amp setup. About $800 for the 2 brand new. Or you could always look for some used saz3000d's; but then for the price those are used, I'd suggest the AQ3500 coming out in the beginning of August. $689 shipped per amp.
