ChiTownTBird312
okay, now that i look at everything i will be needing....i dont have enough to buy the amp i want right now, but i do have a kenwood amp that my dad used for his system for about 2 months, then he took everything out it is the Kenwood KAC-8104D class D mono amp.....would that work for the subs until i can the one i want? AI James
please dont use that kenwood on them...alpine pdx is a great amp as well
hotshot27
please dont disgrace those subs with that amp, you took time to make sure you picked the right subs, now wait an extra pay check or two and save up for the proper amp. In the end you wil be happier, and it will prove better from an investment standpoint. David
blah get a Fi q for cheaper than a W7 and sound just good if you build the right box, slap the alpine pdx on it and be real happy. sorry I just think the w7 is Over priced

AI James
i liked my W7 over my Q, but i didnt pay 450+ for mine had i payed 450+ i would totally agree with David on getting Q's instead. I prefer Rusty's level 3 sound wise over a Q as well, and the level 4 is great as well for loudness while still retaining a de3cent sound
David
teh DC's do sound good, and get pretty loud too. the W7 sound great, I will not lie, I just think they are over priced thats all.
ChiTownTBird312
yeah i placed the order already, but havent payed. so nothing is set in stone, i might decide i want to go back with the 9500's. but im not getting the Fi Q's. if i were to get Fi's i would get BTL's. but as i have heard and had confirmed by a few people, they take a lot of power to run, and i dont have the kind of money for the amps to power them. and the amp would only be temporary until i do buy the one that i want.
