NAH916 Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 i will probably stick with the 2 ohm load. i dont want to break my amps. You could always just run 2 of the 12's, and run it at 1ohm. Quote EG Limo Chrysler 300's Stretched Lambo Doors 20" Rims
Guest aseanj52 Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 How many amps do you have? What kind of power do you have? Like in alts and batts? I ran my Memphis down at .5 ohm and it didn't get to hot, but i have good power to it. My friends ran his Hifonics at .5 and it almost melted with heat, he had bad power. Quote

David Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 if you have 2 amps, why not wire 2 subz per amp, that way each sub will see 750ish?? Quote

Derrick824 Posted July 16, 2008 Report Posted July 16, 2008 That amp is rated MAX power of 1500watts. Its only rated 750watts rms @ 1ohm so about 375ish @ 2ohm. You'll do best to just run the two amps on 4 subs. Quote

etaks_crew Posted July 16, 2008 Report Posted July 16, 2008 Why not get two more amps? So you can have all 8 running. Quote
