Wall In A Cavy, Need Help With Port Please =)

Recommended Posts

alright everyone, will a 9.5" by 9.5" port be big enough for four 15"??? i can get away with a 10"x10" port if i use 1/2"thick mdf instead of 3/4". i reall hope this is a big enough port cuz its all the space i have got on the face of the box. inless i where to do i really skinny wide ass port. help please!

box is a little more then 12cu^ft right now but will be really close to 12cu^ft after i add all the bracing and stuff

thanks

9.5x9.5 is way too small. I would use that on like a 6 cube box for 2 15's

Do a real skinny wide-ass port. How wide are we talking? You really need a good 150 inches of port here.

hhmm im not sure on exact measurments but long skinny port would be id say 30" wide and maybe 3-4" high.

imma go double check those measurements quick

i dont have alot of room for a port as you can see, i never really though about it. *smacks himself in the face*

peoples can i use 1/2" mdf for the port? im trying to get as big of a port as possible and i would gain .5" by using 1/2" over 3/4" mdf.
