On head units like this, where is the USB imput? And how does it work with playing an iPod?

Usually, well with the DEH-6900Ub that i have....my friend had a radio just like the 6000 i think. There is a "List" button you press while on the I-pod source which brings you to a menu kinda like on a I-pod. with.. Play list, artist, album, song, podcast etc. then from there you can either click right or dead center on the pad,on the item you and it will bring you forward to the next set of menus. from there either select a song by clicking center or right. or further break down selection by selecting artist, album, play list, and not. To go back press the pad left. and to go up and down either turn the knob counter-clock wise to go up, or clockwise to go down. Or just click up or down.

And other questions PM me for a quick response.

You plug your ipod usb cord into your ipod and then into your usb cable or just get and aux in mini 1/8th jack and have both plugged in and hit the source button to switch between them..
