I know steve did 4 for 4 oin the tahoe, so is overpowering that dangerous...? With a box that small they'll probably be ok both mechanically and thermally - within reason. Clip it and they'll go poof before you can say 'that doesn't sound like it usually does' 10.x volts fo' life!
