wL<3bass Posted July 26, 2008 Report Posted July 26, 2008 My dad currently has two Pioneer Premier TS-W5102SPL woofers in a slot ported box but the sub farthest from the port is being driven much harder than the one closer the port so thought about designing a box with the port in the center to fix the problem but decided to do 4th order instead....one problem I don't know how to design 4th bandpass enclosures... So I have a few questions the front half will be sealed with a lexan window to make sure the subs aren't reaching the mechanical limits and the back half will be ported but can you have the port on the back wall? through the armrest hole? Heres what the trunk looks like (His drawing ) **Disregard the port up through the deck he doesn't wanna cut the hole in case he wants to sell the car.
