Beanz Posted July 28, 2008 Report Posted July 28, 2008 ya but only boxes i know of already come with mtx subs in there and nothing against mtx but i dont want to use them..id love to go with something like dc sounds..something underground and not main stream..and with out a doubt will be sealed not ported well then just take them out and use the box and sell the mtx's. That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.
David Posted July 28, 2008 Report Posted July 28, 2008 you have some space to work with under that seat, not alot but you could deffinitly rock some 8" subz to get some good bass in the truck, if you can fiberglass you have some good options. look at the RE Re 8's they are pretty nice lil woofer, I dont know much about sundowns, but they do look good. also you can raise those seats a couple of inches and get abit more room if needed.
loganberry Posted July 28, 2008 Report Posted July 28, 2008 pretty much same issue i am having with the 150...its my daily driver for the most part, and all i have now is the stock 8.. and it does not do it for me, look into sundown 8's...im thinking of putting 2 of them under the back seat ported at 37 hz or so... you can easily squeeze a cube or 2 out of the bottom of those seats....and if you even want more...they make 1.5-3 inch seat riser things (gives you that much more space) My F-150 Build GET ON THE BANDWAGON what if they tried messing with the amps when the subs werent louder hahah jk

David Posted July 28, 2008 Report Posted July 28, 2008 I dont know about the seat risers, if it was me I would just fab up some steel, I owuld think it would be cheaper, but I dont know if you have the tools for that.
