So I was looking at a D3100, and I thought, should i just buy one to replace the stock under the hood or keep the stock whatever it is and place the other batt. somewheres else. ?? ideas? I have a D3100 in the rear and currently the stock batt up front, but I plan on at least a D2400 under the hood and another D3100 in the rear. In your case the D2400 up front would be good along with a D3100 in the rear.
