It gets pretty good MPG for an SUV as well (rated at 24 hwy.... I get probably about 21 overall, with about 80% being hwy). bangin_explorer Posted July 30, 2008 Report Share Posted July 30, 2008 my 97 explorer is bout to hit the 200,000 mile mark... never had a major problem with it, just keep it tuned up, regular oil changes (i use full synthetic every 3000 miles) and dont beat the shit out of it and it will last you a very long time....
