Derrick824
I have a '93 with just over 200,000 miles on it & its still going strong and I beat the shit outta this thing. The water pump was changed just before I bought it last year and I've since changed the radiator but other than that no big problems. Its a 5spd so no trans issues there. I get 18mpg out of it. Xplorer
My '96 has been pretty good to me. Replaced the trans at about the 100k mark, and it now has 113k on it. The only other thing I can think of is the idle air valve whistles when it's hot out
Brick2560
I believe my '98 F-150 is basically mechanically the same to a V8 explorer. Its got 117,000 miles on it and havent had any major problems yet. Had to replace the brakes about 2 months ago but thats it. spl explorer
I’m not a Ford fan 1 bit but I got a good deal on my X and now I love it! Still not a Ford fan but if I were to buy a new vehicle it would be another Xploder. There also pretty easy to get loud!
