B Slaps Posted August 4, 2008 Report Posted August 4, 2008 sunrise commons. me and a few other old employee's that used to work for antelope iron built the total 52 stair cases and balcony railings. i think we did total for 4 people, 96 sets in 8 months. elvis those staircases arent hard you just gotta man up and carry those 42" treds. arpox. 100 lbs each. also try carrying them for like 500 ft each. B Slaps Posted August 13, 2008 Report Posted August 13, 2008 (edited) your dad owns a steel company. i aint gonna put that on blast. i have done alot of work around here for other companies which i have no pictures of because back then i didnt care cause we did it everyday. try carrying a 20ft peice of 10" channel by yourself trust me i never said staircases were easy. dont take everything to heart. also installing and fabricating are 2 different things. i can install anything and i can fabricate anything in the feild, butg when you start fabricating custom stuff from scratch its no walk in the park. trust me ive welded for like 6 hours straight. it gets tiring. but if this stuff was easy everyone would be doing it.
