07sOnAtA sp.ed Posted August 11, 2008 Report Posted August 11, 2008 -edit-.... whatever i don't really care what you think... it is all opinion/well, i guess tthats kinda true, but lying on the mic may sound good to some people, but for people who know your lying they are more like STFU... then listening to your music. and another thing... don't catch feelings... im just saying the truth... its not my fault that Nas doesn't do what he raps about when it comes to street creditability... you do do know that there label mates, right? they also happen to release albums at the same time during 2006 and its safe to say that the album sales is a fair "measuring stick" when it come to popularity. so its fair to say alot of people think the same way check it Nas: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hip_Hop_Is_Dead Young Jeezy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Inspiration CURRENTLY UNDER RE-CONSTRUCTION 2008 Hyundai Sonata Team T3 Audio Team Deadly Hertz Team SMD (Street Motivated Devastation)

Look at Jeezy, he uses no sex appeal or any of that shit. He sells records b/c the streets support him... he was rich at least 4-5 years before he before he became famous though rap. he never blew up, b/c no local record label would endorse a known criminal. he street mixtapes, that were only released in atlanta, did better the most rap albums do. and guess who was buyin em'?... hint- it wasnt the ladys... it was the people from the hood who LITERALLY live what he speaks about everyday. 07sOnAtA sp.ed Posted August 11, 2008 Report Posted August 11, 2008 about everyone on this forum that listen to "rap" dont listen to it for the lyrics... thats absolutely fine. but then those same people shouldn't comment on something there uneducated on. ya feel me. like i donut listen to rock for fun... well actually i do, but its more alternative... i also LOVE the red hot chilli peppers. they are probably my favorite artist to listen to besides Jeezy. but if people on this sight were talking about pink Floyd, a group i barely know anything about... i would not take one of there songs and say its bad b/c of the words... when i don't even know the meaning of the song... you get what im trying to say?
