d18
sundowns r expensive. how expensive r ddaudio? and wat u think bout the z series..? dd's are one of the best, if not the best SPL sub, hence why they cost alot. if you don't know anyone and are buying the subs from a shop and paying msrp your looking at ; 1500 series - $220 2500 series - $350 3500 series - $559 9500 series - $800 Z series - $5000 The chances of you being able to order a Z from your local dealership are slim to none, they are normally only offered to competitors. wL<3bass
true.. but wat ive read of them recently seems all good. wat audioque amp/s u think to power 2 btls? to be perfectly honest....I would get BLs over BTLs just b/c the fact that the BTL are sleeping on 2krms they need about 3.5krms to really shine in the appropriate box......you can power two BLs with that power your gonna need for one BTL. EricM9104
im basing this off of known knowledge about pioneer itself, not the level of sub you named. Pioneer subs are wal-mart subs, cheap. Sure two of the lower level ones sound good on 400w rms because thats their max power they can handle. Throw another 100w rms @ them and POOF. Although with the sub your looking to get, theres tons of better subs that will out perform the pioneer all day long - if your going for street beat. (to name a few: btl, nightshades, 9500 dd's) I think you're opinion is REALLY stuck on the pioneer's and thats not good. Let the people with YEARS of experience on this forum help you.
