If I remeber right my alt is 100 amps, not 100% sure (2.2L 4 cylinder) I am wondering if there are any 140-150 amp alternators that are stock on other vehicles and compatible with my truck. I'm trying to find an alternator on a budget. I might run one or two alternators depending on how much wattage I'm gunna run, as it looks right now, it'll only be around 1kW-1.5kW, but I would like to have some headroom. However, I might be doing a engine swap, taking out my four cylinder and putting in a small block chevrolet.. I'd like to have an alternator that I could use on either or. Also if I can find an engine, it'll be carbureted. My truck is OBDI. 2005 Blazer Build... Mach 5 SPL-12s, Audiopipe AP3000.1D..

You could use a 140 amp stock CS144 if you but a V8 in there, but you will still have to tweak the V8 alternator bracket to make it fit, and you would still need an adapter plug. 1-888-MECHMAN www.Mechman.com [email protected]

You could use a 140 amp stock CS144 if you but a V8 in there, but you will still have to tweak the V8 alternator bracket to make it fit, and you would still need an adapter plug.
