ALPINE408 Posted August 11, 2008 Report Posted August 11, 2008 If you got a 9 or 12 volt electric drill take the batt and touch on pos of the speaker to one of the batt prongs and then the neg of the speaker to the other prong of the drill batt if the speaker don't pop don't worrie its not.a bad pop if it don't pop your speaker is a gonner or your a tinsel lead broke or you don't know how to wire Have you ever had your woofers blown?
.Supra. Posted August 11, 2008 Author Report Posted August 11, 2008 aight ill try those things but i dont have a lot of time during the week because im in band and we have practice 9hrs a day(4 in the moring 5 at the night) so i may try that tomorrow during our small break dont have enough time today
Sampsonite Posted August 12, 2008 Report Posted August 12, 2008 Pretty simple, Get a DMM, and turn the system on. Check the voltage coming out of the amp. If there is any voltage, the amp is fine. Then check the ohm load out of the speaker(s). on of the 2 won't have a reading. --Sampson 816-591-6592 www.kcrimshop.com
.Supra. Posted August 14, 2008 Author Report Posted August 14, 2008 well easy enough my bro came home so i just tested my sub on his system and when i plugged the wires in i got nothing out of the sub but i failed to mention that my bro took my car one day and turn the system a lil too loud and when i got in my car later i smelt something really bad (assuming a burned coil) so i assuming something came undone or something in the sub crapped out because of it
Forevrbumpn Posted August 14, 2008 Report Posted August 14, 2008 Bro owes...... I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
.Supra. Posted August 14, 2008 Author Report Posted August 14, 2008 nah i dont care because i have a best buy warranty ftmfw so i took it back and now i got my type r back since i previously owned one but blew it because i had bass boost up ftl but i got it back and it cost me NOTHING so i recommend buying a sub from best buy if you dont plan on changing brands and think you might blow it because all you do it take it back and get a new one for free
