I usually figure out exactly where the box is going to set, where the subs will be positioned, then work on the port from there, sometimes you can't get the port area you need... I don't think you'll have that problem with a SUV.. Try to keep it between 75-85 inches and use a good port tuning calculator and you'll be allright. That'll move some air :01nocomment8so: 5 cubes, 80 square inch port, maybe 18" long port should tune you to mid-high 30's Quote 10.x volts fo' life!
