82 Cutlass Sub Box

Ok so here is what my last setup looked like... (sorry for the paint stuff, I didn't have any pictures cuz my hard drive crashed)

It was two kicker CVX 12's on a poweracoustik SL 2000D subs back port back. The box was roughly 4.5 or 5 cubic ft so there should be plenty of room.

New setup will be two DC Lvl 4 XL 12's on a sundown 3000D

What will configuration have the most output?

Alright. I kinda figured subs back port back would be what most people said. The only other thing I could think of would be subs back port up through the rear deck.

It depends how solid the divider between the cabin and the trunk is. If it's really restrictive, subs back port through the deck will probably go best.

If it's only semi-solid, subs back port back will be best.

If there's nothing in the space at all (except your seats) you should really really look into doing subs and port forward, sealed off. Do it once, do it right.

Ok well there is a piece between the trunk and the cabin but its very little, and subs forward port forward would be kinda difficult seeing as there is only 11 inches from trunk bottom to rear deck in the far back of the trunk. Thats why I was thinking subs back port up through the rear deck.
