96saturnsl Posted August 17, 2008 Report Posted August 17, 2008 well i came up with a design for a enclosure and i want to see how accurate these calculations are. box width-30 hieght-13 top depth-22.5 bottom depth-29 comes out to 4.589cu ft now the port tuned to 35 hz. square port width-5 height-6 lenght-9.86 can someone check those for me if they would and let me know how far this might be off by?
Decaf Posted August 18, 2008 Report Posted August 18, 2008 ur cuft u found is outer dimensions thats where the 9.86 came from ur box is actually ~4cuft for port would need to be 12" long if 5*6... which is not enough and will cause port noise
