01xtreme
why not just get an allison steve?? Allisons are meant to be used with diesel engines, iirc. That would be a hella custom job, and expensive as fuck. He just wanted it back on the road, like he said. 01xtreme
^^^^^lol I didn't want to say anything I have never seen an allison adapted to wor with a normal gas engine, but im sure with an endless bankroll one could have a bellhousing custom made to adapt it, but what for? You can build up a 4L60E to be jsut as strong as one of those, only difference is the Allison would have more gears. X2 Allison is just a name to him, probably doesn't know much more than the fact that they cost more therefore they are "better". Same with not knowing that there were holes behind the ford symbols he removed. Aaron813
ya my tranny went out and then the next week my rear end went out......that was a 4,000 month  i do put it in tow-haul mode on big climbs but mostly i dont. The only reason I made this thread was I was out messing with my Tahoe this week and pulled a boat with it and was thinking if you lug around that much weight daily it might help you out with acceleration and since you have such big rims
