ruel1977
i dont like the kicker subs personally.. here in the philippines buying kicker products is not advisable due to high price but still not as durable as DD, Fi and RE... Sampsonite
Everyone knows that round subs need round ports, and square subs need square ports. The soundwaves from a round sub are, obviosuly, round, and if you have a square port, they won't fit through. Same thing with quare subs and round ports. Square subs make square soundwaves, and won't fit through a round port. You need the same port shape as the sub so that she shape of the soundwave from the sub fits through the box correctly. Shinju
I have used kicker subs before they were offically called Kicker (Stillwater Designs) I like them, I am not a fan of the new gen cones I think they look silly but they still do what they do best.. Make noise. But if I had to pick my favorite years of kicker subs it would be 92-97 Gold Kicker logo, and the White and Red K and S (solo) series. Mosin
I like/use Kicker subs. They get plenty loud for me. :hairtrick: Had quite a few Comps, CVR's. 2 Solo X's I enjoyed them till I decided I wanted louder. SQ ain't that great like posted before, but all in all great woofer...
