small update

2nd 12" sx will be here wednesday!!!!!!!!! w00t!!!

if i put all my eggs in one basket i think ill be bassin' by the weekend.... i hope... im having withdraws

i still need fuse holders and speaker wire

and whether to use bolt terminals (do you use brass?)

or 10ft of 10gauge and go outside the port

and whether i should attempt to put t-nuts in with the top already on.... i think im going to do 4 t-nuts and 4 screws after the nuts have been tightened cause i cant get a hammer in the box for ~4 of the needed holes

wire the subs up with 8ga if you can but if you already have 10g then that will work good too. as for the terminals i'd say you the bolts, washers and nut method. get ther copper or aluminum bolts and you should be good to go.

yeah... so i mentioned earlier that i fucked up the wood cause i let too much glue sit soooooo... its actually just sealed... no stain... just some rough poly... it will be painted eventually but first i gotta hear what it sounds like incase i need to make any changes

so heres what im doing

(4) twisted knukonceptz karma 10gauge from each voicecoil to box terminal which = ~3feet... each run will only see 600w rms @ 2ohm

then from outside of box terminal to amp (2) twisted knukonceptz karma 8 gauge = ~2 feet

that is technically overkill for only 2200w rms for speaker wire

wire should arrive tomorrow 11/20

4 screws per sub then ill screw down the 4 t-nuts... i only used 10/24 t-nuts so ill use a small washer to get the diameter of a drywall screw.... this should be fool proof

knukonceptz karma smoke 2 channel rca for sub amp... replacing my rf comp rcas... i never liked them

300a inline fuse holder for under the hood.. its bigger than i expected... my fav fuse holder so far

twisted x2 10gauge for speaker to box terminal... ready for crimping and soldering
