Its a Kinetik http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/mega_shok.gif amp Power Supply so I can test amps and any other 12 volt equipment.

It does http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/mega_shok.gif amps at 13.8 volts

Heres a link and you can download the owners manual on this page to get more info and details.

Heres my burn in testing that I did and posted up on this forum:

i like the brackets ;):)

Thanks.

I have a paint skeem picked out for them but it kinda doesn't matter because no one will really ever see them.

I'm still going to do it though.

Yes it allows you to run any type of 12 volt equipment off of 110 volt AC.

Read the instruction manual and it will answer most of your questions.

I do recommend putting a battery inline with it though to help keep strain off of the power supply and you need a minimum of a 20 amp dedicated cicuit for it from your circuit panel. ( I can't think of the rite word at the moment)

My build log was starting to get barreid so I'm bumping it so I don't loose it.

I'm still running around with nothing installed.

I'm am just trying to come up with ideas on how I can keep tempatures up around 60 of 70 degrees when its 30 to 40 outside.

When I figure that out the build will resume.

I was to busy getting laid in the fall and now shes gone but so is my nice weather.

Build will resume soon.

Damn Roscoe its been so long since I checked my own build log I didn't even know you posted. Sorry man.

Ya I got my truck out of the shop and my engine is in top notch shape for 20 years old which I'm thankful for because I have some big plans for this truck latter on down the road.

So truck = great shape. OH knock on wood!

As for this build I'm just waiting on the Temps to break. I have to start with paint and would you believe this shit.

Monday= 27 degrees all day, Tues= mid 40s, Wens it got rite below 60 degrees then this weekend or possibly starting tonight it might start snowing and then get back to normal and average 40s + - 15 degrees.

I do have have people ask me well why don't I stick alittle space heater in there or rig up some sort of temporary heat source (but IMO not a quality situation).

The reason is I'm dealing with a 20 year old restoration and I don't have a shop to work in and I value my truck more than anything.(The most important person in my life gave me this truck, my Grandfather.)

With that said everything I do to it has to be done correctly the very first time. I can't take any chances on making any mistakes, so I'm useing my patients.

To alot of people they probbly don't see what I see in this particular vehicle, but to anyone that knows how this truck was built (88 Chevy K3500 1 ton) there is alot of potential for a SQL ride.

This install is just to hold me over. I am going to do 2 installs on this truck. this one is just for fun untill I get another vehicle. the final install witch won't be for another 2 years will involve a solid fiberglass cap and a full cut through.

Patients, Patients, Patients.

The closer it gets to spring the more I will beable to do.

I'll tell you what guys, I really don't know what the fuck I'm building but I'll be as interested in this build as you are.

I had put a 2,000 watt CAP on this install. Had the rite alt the propper wirring a decent battery, infact I had everything but the 2,000 watt amp that I have been waiting on that is not in production yet.(Good cause I don't have the money yet now)

Well Hell, Mechman alts came onto the seen and made it possible to afford some things I was not planning on buying.

I now have a high output alt (150/250 amps with a built in adjustable voltage regulator) and a new D2400 battery.

Thanks Matt and the rest of the guys at Mechman Alts.

Well it looks like I'm now in the 3,000 watt leage now. I'm not saying I'm going to do 3,000 watts but I do have 2 RF Power 1501BDs sitting around and all 4 of my L7 10s.

Who knows? :search:

All I can tell you guys is that if I end up doing a cut through,Well, Um, Um, I might end up at a comp. :aggressive::diablo:http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif

Well I got my lazy ass outside one day and got the head liner out of the truck. A nice easy job.

Ya gotta save this piece, it will come in handy in the spring when I can do some of the other stuff I want to do or it may never make it back into the truck.

Nice and clean. Just trying to figure out what route I want to take to reinforce the roof.
