A clipped signal will burn a tinsel lead, and too much power can snap some leads. If your amp isn't clipping and you are burning leads there is an issue I can't tell you what it is. If your clipping your amp and burn the leads thats why. If you just have way too much power and the leads snap with no charring then the amp is probably not being clipped.

Yeah, they're snapping not charing. Thanks for the info. Didn't know you can burn leads either, I always thought you only had to worry about the voicecoil.

ok, so my computer at home crashed thanks to my mother doing somthing stupid.......no comment........ but I have lots of updates on small upgrades added and such. I still have a few things to put in so i have like a full weeks of work to do and i only have time to work at like 630 at night and its getting dark at 8:15ihs so ya. Just here to let u guys know i havn't fallen off the grid, i'm just not having a computer at home to upload pictures of my work. lets say i just have alot of small things to do. haha

ok, first off, out wiht the 5.25" coaxs, in with the 6.5 RF power coaxs. and deadend back doors

made my trim panels removable. don'tlook as good, i'm gonna take box out this summer and carpet the box, it will look cleaner!!

added a thrid run to batt bank.... and replace wire to amps, gets louder and better voltage to amps

yea the wire trick with puttting it in the drill makes it look pretty damn awesome.

yea i do that whenever i run speedwire for a 4channel. In case they ever look its all twisted and neat.

:) makes for a good impression and people look for the small details like that :)
