Audio Control FTL!!! I wish that they had a Term Lab so I could actually tell what it is doing. You could be doing anywhere from a 146-151 on a Term Lab. That's how much it can vary from an Audio Control meter. It depends on what model and when the last time the mic was calibrated. Also it depends on how high they had the sensitivity turned up on the unit. If I had to guess I'd say that your probably in the 148-149 range on a TL though.

Did you try removing your trim pieces around the box when you were at the comp like I told you to do? I guarantee that you will pick up quite a bit of spl if you do that.

ya, i went from 153.1 in qualifieing wiht them in to 154.2 in final round with taking them out. but i'm getting on meter asap once recone is in and i get a few things tweaked here and there, she will be ready to go. i feel 150's out of her. so we are good there

Just make sure that when you get on a TL you play a sweep to find the loudest freq in your ride. Then let your car charge off the alt for a minute or two. Then you can burp the car at the freq that you found in the sweep. That will be your best result of finding the loudest freq to play.
