Team XS SPL - Jeffrey Posted September 3, 2008 Report Share Posted September 3, 2008 World Finals "Laughlin " just hit the dB Drag calendar (in quotations because it's actually Arizona) <---besides the point The host hotel is the Avi Casino in Laughlin, NEVADA. Okay. WF location is in Fort Mojave in ARIZONA. Okay. Needless to say, we have to cross state lines to get to the venue...but not only that, we cross into a new TIME ZONE!!! So if we have to be at the venue by 8am in Arizona, we have to technically leave the host hotel at 6:50ish. LOL. We lose an hour during the short 4 minute drive from the host hotel to the venue. I think this is correct. Correct me if I'm wrong, though. Just a weird observation...
