bibby>Chode
After a few days for the snow to melt and clear up, I was able to get some work done. I pulled the bed back off, hood, grill, and the pass fender and inner fender. It''s valentines day, so it was time to cleanup and take the wifey out for dinner so i had to stop before i got the drivers fender off. I'll yank it off tomorrow. My dad was supposed to be out here tuesday and wednesday to do some wleding, but he is snowed in up north some damn where. He'll be through either this weekend or the next. So im going to be doing everything i can that doesnt require welding. Pulled into the garage with the bed off, door half shut with the heater running. Pic of said heater. 55,000 BTU diesel heater FTW Some pics of the cab Just playing with a rear bag and mount The hood is off! And here is where i didnt take any pics until i was finished. Grill hood, and pass fender gone. Alos got the wheels off and on jackstands. bibby>Chode
So i got up this morning to finish removing the fenders. The drivers side more specifically. It was much easier than the pass side despite all the shit to relocate. This was partly bc I didnt know what i was doing pulling off the pass, and on the drivers side i did. Any-who, I'm about to go to lunch with the wifey, and maybe when i get home yank the springs out and install the front bags. idk, we'll see. Before we started Windshield washer fluid resovior out Here is where i forgot to take pics until we were done again. Then i slipped the fender back on to see what clearences were gonna be like. The outside is flat black, and the bottom is rubber undercoating. without fenders with fenders The view underneath From the front Without springs and shocks. You can see the a arms and tie rods hitting Close up of the upper a arms hitting Close up of the tie rod hitting My fenders before i started them Materials Flat black on top Finished the top, now working on the bottom A close up of the bottom
