Also how much do you think it will cost? One the the bolt on the alternator is stripped which is why I cant get it out. Any information will be appreciated Thanks. usmc7980 Posted September 9, 2008 Report Share Posted September 9, 2008 if you have a new alt and just need labor I would say $150. Here in P ensacola I had my wife's changed. I had the alternator and they charged $135 to install and do the big 3 with 4 gauge. She doesn't have a system but it still made a difference over factory wires.
