Why 2 fuses?

Ok let's say you have 1/0 wiring coming from your battery under your hood to your battery in the back. You put a fuse within 18" of the battery

under the hood. But what's gonna happen when there is a shot between the fuse and the battery or batteries in the back (which also have current by the way)??

That's right you guessed it. Your car might go up in flames. Bottom line: you need 2 fuses to FULLY protect that wire between the batteries.

I'd run one in the engine and another one (possibly two) in the back. Usually, the more batts the better, as long as the alt can keep up.

A couple links to some box builds:

Tahoe Box 1, Tahoe Box 2, Nissan Titan, VW GTI,

Mini-Bump, Hummer H2, Ford F-150

My own car builds (current setup --- under construction):

Overall Thread, Kickpods, Dash, Back Doors

Subwoofer Wall

Thinks enough:

50ft of 0 gauge wire, ground distribution block, fused distribution block, 2 fuse holder with 250 amp fuses, 10ft of 4-gauge wire, 100 ft of 16 gauge wire, 4 channel RCA 6 m, 2 battery terminals, and lastly remote wire. Think enough?
