98_EXPIDITION Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 Hi, I am about to purchase an Fi BTL 18, but am unsure of what to select for the options under "speaker configuration". I plan on using the sub daily to play all types of music (mainly hip hop/rap/bass) in my Ford Expedition. I plan on running the speaker in a ported box that my brother will build. I just need help selecting the right options before I place my order. Thanks, Joe.
Torres Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 what kind of amp are you going to get for it? best off gettin one that's one ohm stable ohm: dual 2 P chamfer: no cooling: yes HiXm coil: yes daily: yes induct heat ring: yes universal: up to you. if you try to sell it down the line, i think most people like to see it set up as universal so they can change the ohms on it if need be that's what i would do imo
