missinglink Posted September 23, 2008 Report Posted September 23, 2008 2000 Chevy silverado 5.3 stock alt I tried to google it but got different answers everywhere There are two possible alternators for that truck: Delco P/N 10480388 AD 230 alternator, rated @ 105 amps Delco P/N 10480234 AD244 alternator, rated at 130 amps The AD244 was an optional unit installed with tow packages, or in cold climates.
