Owners1 Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 So tell me what you guys think about this.. I was talking to a guy named Chris from MLA and he had a pretty good idea.. He told me to do a dual stock alternator setup in my 06 H2 with the MLA module and it would beable to power my Atomic 5000.1 with no probs.. what do you guys think about this? two stock alts or a single 300 amp? usmc7980 Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 I wouldn't hesitate at al to do whatever Chris says about alts on a Hummer Quote
Airborne Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 That sounds like a great idea. Would this work an any vehicle? I'll bet I could get a good alt from a pick and pull for next to nothing. Quote
usmc7980 Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 It will work as long as you have room and the ability to make a braket Quote
Airborne Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 (edited) I have ability, I just need to see if there is room. How do I measure for a belt? do I need an extra idler pully? Edited September 25, 2008 by Airborne Quote
usmc7980 Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 Not sure on the idler pulley but I would assume so, as far as the belt just take some string once your done and wind it around all the pulleys Quote
