I am pretty sure he has a smaller port which enables you to throw more amplifier power at them! Can they handle less than 1 ohm no problem for daily use? .7 is OK...... .35 is probably a bad idea, i did blow up an amp doing that BUT, i had the first 4 off the line and 2 more went out since then. They made changes to the design based on the problem i was having and since then NO problems.
