my buddy just got his car broken into, lost subs and deck, amp was screwed in so they couldn't take it

what have people done??? under my sub i have the third row seats folded down so i can't really bolt them in

here's what i was thinking, i've never heard of this before but think it would be effective, how about lay down a couple of strips of heavy duty velcro on the carpet, then on the bottom of the box??? my subs and box are pretty heavy as we all should know, but that weight then the velcro wouldn't slide and would be held down pretty good...

kinda crazy idea, anything else???

IMO if someone wants your stuff bad enough they will get it.... But just securing it down i think the velcro would probally work.

yea for sure, but i got car alarm and stuff, but no doubt anyone good at what they do will get it no problem, i'm just thinkin average homo highschool/college/drug dealers that want a quick buck and are out to take it to be cool... i think if they tug once, tug twice, then want to get out of there by then

ya, i've heard of alot of people punching wholes in the cones with a screw drivew and such but not much i can do against that

i still think the most effective way is to be careful of where you're bumping and if you're gonna park in a neighbor don't go in there shakin houses

take the sub out, screw the box into the back of the seat, put sub back in.

i agree with chevy if ur wantin to keep ur third row the just take ur subs out and find the bracing in the seat and bolt or screw it to the seat...
