Nightshade Posted October 15, 2008 Report Share Posted October 15, 2008 You do know on pretty much every car on the market you can go to the injector plug to get the tach wire. It's the non common color wire out of the two. That's pretty much the only wire I use to get tach in cars unless I can find it somewhere inside the car so I dont' have to go under the hood. I went to audio school and i learned the basics but nothing compares to being in the industry doing it everyday. Its alot diffrent. i am mecp certified and i dont think it means as muh as it used to. I am also ASE certified. I am not trying to be an ass but if u ask a question just take the info and use it to your advantege instead of saying in a nice way that you think u know it all. I thought almost all remote starts that are out today had the Tach Sensing option built in so you didn't need to run the tach wire?
