97maxima Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 im about to start my new build and i need to decrease my box height.Im wondering what will be a safe distance between the motor and the back of my box? Currently it 4 1/4" from the back of the enclousure.But being pressed for space i need to make it closer.Anyone ever ran into this before? American Bass*DC Power
Torres Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 is your sub vented? like, a hole in the magnet? if not you can have it practically touching the box. if so, then i wouldnt go much closer than you already are
