I would say CVX 12's would be a good choice and around $150each BNIB shipped from ebay stores all over. Less if you Bid war em. Hope that helps. PlateStacker45 Posted January 12, 2007 Author Report Share Posted January 12, 2007 Just thought I'd let you know if your looking for SPL you can get a 12" L7 (new) on eBay right at $200 Thats a real good price for them, but most people say the CVX gets just as loud and even sounds better doing so. They're practicaly the same sub and same motor, but one is round with a hair less surface area. But for $100+ less for the pair, I'd rather bag the CVX. I have heard the 10" CVX's and they sounded pretty good to me, I could have sworn that the guy had 2 or 3 12's, but low and behold he was running a pair of 10's. He told me that 1 CVX is on par with 2 CVR's of the same size. I dont know if that is true, but they were pretty damn loud for 10's. I have the shityist job (nuclear security) at the shityist base (Malmstrom, MT). Can't wait to finish my next 1 1/2 and GET THE HELL OUT!!!! Go back to sunny Florida FTW!!!!! That pay increase is nice fellas. I took a decent cut when I got out, but I love what I do now and I don't have to deal with all the Army BS. So I like it more now.
