Neo_frog
Alright, yeah I had a few powering problems with the last build, but I did some research and spent a little dime, and now I have a great setup. I know you guys are gonna love this. This is what I've accomplished in the last week... Ripped everything out and added more sound deadener.. Built a new floor board... Installed it... Built the outside frame... And glassed it. I cut 32 holes and... Built a pretty frame for them. Need an install? Hit me up.[email protected]Got car audio questions? Neo_frog
I installed it and braced it all around with 2x4s. I cut my front faces and... Put them in. They look awesome! Headliner was previously removed for space and the light was relocated. Haha Lots and lots of fiberglass. Its out with the old...and in with the new! Need an install? rusty959
I think he should be ok as far as phasing issues goes... Ive seen a couple setups around like that and they haven't seemed to have any problems. Just make sure and pop test all of your woofers to make sure one doesn't have the polarity reversed. Neo_frog
Here's the new batteries. And here's the new 300A alt from Dom. The 'under the hood' setup. It has 4 1/0 stealth power wires and 4 250A circuit breakers. Box was carpeted and holes were cut from it. And this is how things will look. I'm waiting on most of the equipment to come in still, but we're talking the next couple days. The whole setup will be running on 8000W and I'm hoping to have a lot of this -> http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/hairtrick.gif Need an install? Actually, the loads are completely correct. I'll be running 4000 to each pair of 16 at 1 ohm. They are all single 4s. And as for phase...heh, I don't even care right now! This is way too fun! Edit...: Forgot to say, looks nice! Definitely. I bought some 9V batteries and I'm going to be very scrupulous when I put it in... It's going to be tricky as it is. My plan is to work from top to bottom with the sub install. And that's only because you lose the space for a human in the box when the sub is put in. Heh Need an install?
