Well, I used buss bars in the front from the front battery and at the entrance to the bank in the back. I have a lot of tools and stuff flying around in there and I get really nervous with metal tools around those batteries. Buss bars make for easy accidents, but I have more buss bars on the way and that will be the final power upgrade before the amps get permanently set.

They are very convenient and worth it.

cool cool man... those amps you have back there look almost identical to my crossfire vr4000 i have sitting around..what you hittin with them?

All you can do is try and see if your happy with the voltage drop. Some people are ok with being in the 12's, and some never wanna dip below 13. For me personally, I would be fine with 1 h/o alt and 4 batteries because I have been used to having 2 batteries and a stock alt.
