is there a noticable difference running 2 ohms to 1 ohm??? for example how many amps does a saz-1500d pull at 1 ohm and 2 ohms?

i couldn't find the the draw or any numbers on it, but if someone knows it i'd also like the stats on a saz-3000d

You lower your ohms from 2 to 1 your draw more amps of current. increase power, and have less effciciency due to heat. Most amps do more power at lower ohms and some don't...

edit: the rating for the 1500D is 800w....but you can prolly expect 1000-1100wrms

yes there will be a noticable differnce because the lower you go in ohms the more power you get hence the more power it needs to run the amp

if all else is held constant, halving impedance doubles draw an output

some amps dont follow this whatsoever, like jbl crown, which draws more at higher impedance, and alpine pdx, which has the same rms and draw at 2 or 4 ohms

monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now)
