andygp
Hi - yeah etched vinyl would look great - especially if you use it on the inside of the plexiglass - I could cut this for you - but as I am in the UK I suspect you could find someone more local :usd: :greedy: ;D Just my ten pennies worth but... Good luck. Andy
meade916
the etched vinyl is the easiest and least expensive route. not the best looking though. the routed design gives the best effect when side lit. if doing the etched vinyl, make sure to have it reverse cut and applied to the backside of the plex. then wandering fingers cant pick the edges. it DOES NOT light up like the etchig or routing does. they are totally different looks. but you can get several different colors of etched vinyl to make it look better. check with your local sign shop and they can explain it in more detail if you go with the vinyl. if your bro is that anal, i would go with the etched plex and make him happy! i gotta disagree......the vinyl will light up like crazy - go look at the caddy. Your right though putting it on the inside is best to keep hands off of it. I have yet for anyone to be able to tell the difference between what i did and a real etch job and thats not just the internet its in person as well.
