Absolutely right Sir. Both subs will be wired at 1ohm so this should be an improvement. I guess my 9 year old amps are babies for the new technology lol Quote 1996 Impala, just a weekend toy Molesting the wicked streets of chitown (next in line for sounds) 2006 Corolla...current audio head ache and money pit Alpine cda 9881 head unit pioneer 6x9's Hiphonics 6.5 components power acustik tweeters Not installed but in the to install list: Hifonics Brutus BXI 2080D 2600 watts rms 2 12" Kicker L7's Dual 4 ohm subs wired at 2 ohms each = 1 ohm load 0 gauge wire, MLA module
paco
if your electrical is up to par then you will love hifonics as in any other amp. they are power hungry though. That is the reason why the amp is not connected yet. I am making sure I take care of all the loose ends to make it right this time. I'm doing the big 3 in zero gauge, I have 3 optima batteries, Might upgrade to 3 kinetic batteries. I have yet to hear from mechman about my high output alternator. If I don't hear from him I will look else where for a h.o alt. No short cuts this time. Beanz
YEAH that's the way to go lol.hey tell me how that amp holds up im deciding on that one the 2608D or a audioque 2200D. Quote That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.
