KickerAudio21
i've seen that show too.... the problem with that show and pimp my ride, is that all the cars they make are based on themes..... I think themes are dumb, they just mkae it about themes so it is appealing to the avarage viewer who doesn't know everything about car auduio. It's hard to make a shwo that is strictly just fabrication and stuff because it would only appeal to people who do that kinda of stuff. ------------------------------------------------- 1st place circuit city car/spl show (maplewood,MN) 2006 146.6 dB's with 2 12" L7 and 1606d brutus

ChevyBoy
Is it me, or did anyone else notice that that guy never makes a ported box?, everything he does is sealed. They have someone come in there and say I want my shit boomin, and its always the same, 2 jl 10's or 12's in the same sealed box. ive seen quite a few ported boxes. most of the ones in the hummers are ported. how bout the time he put 4 13w7's in the hummer all ported. that was the loudest truck he said he ever did. Texas Tech
when reme builds boxes, fiberglassed boxes, after he gets the fleece over, he always takes that tool, and goes along the edges everywhere and it sounds like presserized air is being shot, is that a nail gun or whaT? ChevyBoy
are you talking about a blow gun or the da sander?
Texas Tech
definetly not the sander, i guess teh blow gun. What does he do it for. I think he does it on every enclosure, not sure, maybe just the fiberglassed ones after he fleeces. Baylor University Accounting
ChevyBoy
either hes using a blow gun to blow wood particles/saw dust/dirt/whatever off, or youre thinking of when he sprays the box with glue to put the fleece/vinyl/carpet on.

LSN2meBoom916
Maybe SOMEONE here, should VIDEO their next build/s instead of snappin pix along the way. Just get a buddy w/ a cam to film the process on a camcorder or dig camer in short lil clips that you could edit together and start that kinda "build log" show here on SMD? It'd be fairly easy, you just need a camerman and someone that can edit maybe using Windows Movie maker or w/e they use to make youtube clips and such. Anyone know "Dream Car garage", "2 Guys Garage", or any of those car building series that serious and not Pimp my ride-ish? Just a thought, It could be dope and I bet it wouldnt hurt Bandwidth as long as the clips/episodes were hosted on Photobucket or some other similar share site. It'd need the OK from the "boss man" of course but I bet as long as "HE didn't HAVE TO contribute ALL the builds, he'd be down. ~2cents.
