LSN2meBoom916
Ya I spose that too :sarcasm: I've never had any use for a too part epoxy or anything that had to be mixed in that large quantity/tube style. Fiberglass/bondo/resin and that type of stuff usually gets it done for me. I also have never had any luck w/ 2 part epoxy that is built in a "sarynge style tube" and mixes as it comes out. I sell em in the adhesives section at AutoZone and from my expeience they NEVER work right. Anybody got any they have tried and like? BTW I'm pretty sure ours are all PERMATEX, maybe thats the problem right there? EpicenterDesigns
If you don't mind......... :hj: I use the SEM version. Basically the same exact thing made by a different company. Bad thing is, the guns are different, so interchanging cartridges won't work. :angry01: And technically, it is not a dual action gun. It is a 1:1 static mix cartridge gun. just messing. Building The Best.....Repairing The Rest The bitter after-taste of a poor quality job will last far longer than the sweetness of that cheap price! Guest MegaloManiac
You are absolutely right. I'll correct the name of the thread. static mixing cartrdige gun. for ppl who don't have the gun i've seen someone on another board make their own "ghetto" rigged mixing gun. they took a regular caulk gun, but it has to have open sides, and like glued 2 dowel rods to it. i'll find a pic.
