mmatsfreak
Ok guys I'm a big fan of mmats equipment I love their amps and subs.I was planning to run 4 mmats 15 juggernauts but I'm not sure anymore.I'm thinking that maybe juggernauts are outdated.I'm unsure of what would compare to the juggernauts.I'm not interested in DD I tried them and I didn't like them too much. What would you suggest.I'm looking for something that can pound at 2000 watts.I was considering the solox 18 but 5000 watts is too much for one sub for me and the soundstream xxx is even worse with 8500.How do would 4 15 MTs do? I'm looking for daily but a loud daily.I was also considering the FI BTL or the TREO ssx.
Namosh
I don't think there's anything wrong with Juggernauts. I'd run them. For 2000 watts daily, you could also look at DC Level 5's. Quote My Ram Quad Cab Blow-through
mmatsfreak
by the way I meant 2000 watts per sub for a total of 8000 watts I forgot to clarify that. I know 4 15 inch mmats can get loud with 2000 watts but I was wondering if there is something out there that would sound louder and more musical than the juggernauts.Would 4 MTs or BTLs produce more SPL? raytard
all the juggs i heard were brutal, but didnt sound like a daily sub, they sound very peaky to me. btl's may not be "louder" but the ones ive heard were very comparable, but cleaner IMO Quote Build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...hl=avalon+build monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now) Team DC
mmatsfreak
yeah I all the juggernauts I have heard slam real hard but I'm curious if I can get something else that would be louder with 2000 watts.

HHR Ed
any of the choices you have above will pound with 2000w. Even the Solo X and soundstream, just because they are rated to handle 5000 and 8500 doesnt mean that they will not pound with 2000w. The juggs are good too but they were initially used as burp subs. You may want something with softer suspension and a beefy coil to play music with 2000w. I personally like using the T3 TSS for this purpose. But the Fi BTL is another good choice. RE MTs have been used alot and sounded nice but I think they are not as efficient as the BTL and TSS.
