JPagan
I am getting ready to start working on a little system for my car soon. what will get louder 2 12 inch JL audio w1v2's or 1 12 inch JL audio w3v3. I would put them in a nice custom ported box and use the reccomended power. Edited November 22, 2008 by James

Chris from Mi
in theory, the 2 12's would get louder, in actuality either one could get louder than the other setup, depends on a lot of factors. JPagan
Okay, thank you. Would it be best just to use JL' specs for the box or come up with my own?

HHR Ed
it is going into a 2000 Pontiac grand am sedan, and i am using JL's exact specs for a ported box. If loud is your main goal there are better choices in sub brands. However, out of those 2 choices, the 2 12s would get louder any day, the W3 just cant be pushed hard enough to compensate for the lower cone area. amazinblazin10
yeah go for the 2 12's more cone area unless you had the space for a t-line for a single twelve, but beings it's going in a trunk that might get kinda tricky 1997 Dodge Ram Van 2500 Big III addition with 1/0 awg wiring all throughout Lightning Audio Strike S4.1000.1D Jenson XA2250 2 - 12" Mtx Jackhammers JH55 3ft cubed box sealed under the rear bench seat Pioneer DEH-P6000UB head unit MB Quart FWA 160 components up front
