redbaron80 Posted November 24, 2008 Report Share Posted November 24, 2008 Well I added my T4000's and the bass plays way LOWER and deeper. I DID a 152.5 burp and 149.9 bassrace. I noticed, when I did my last battery upgrade, when I added 2 Kinetic 2400's, my burp score went up 2db's and bassrace went up slightly. I know I need to get some SERIOUS alternator power in my ride to get my bassrace score to hold that 150.4 I had at the last show. I would really like to add Two 300 amp alternators, either seperate or in addition to the 165 amp alternator I have in the stock location. I am not removing the AC unit, so perhaps we can locate the additional alternators in another location. Is this better than just adding 2 more kinetic 2400's?, I am thinking I will get MORE results out of the alternator upgrade ( which is really needed at this point ) Official Scores at the Dash. and YES. Andrew2944r Posted November 24, 2008 Report Share Posted November 24, 2008 You can get a Ho Alt that does 130 ish @ Idle and 300+ @ 2k from http://www.dcpowerinc.com/home.php, they also make dual Alt brackets depending on your vehicle make, HO Alt will make a huge diffrence if you just have a stock alt now. It's a 165 amp now, and I don't think a 300 will fit in the stock location, would like to ADD two 300's to the one I have, not sure how to do it, looking at my options.
